CONSULTING
Call me when the pilots work and the program doesn’t.
There is a specific failure mode I get hired for. The demos land, the executives are enthusiastic, and six months later nothing has shipped to production — because no one built the connective tissue: the sequencing, the guardrails, the definition of done, and the reporting that keeps funding attached to reality. I have spent thirty years on the seam between research and operations, from virtual reality in the 1990s to enterprise AI now. The technology changes. The seam does not.
How I can help
Enterprise AI program design
CIO and CTO organizations with promising pilots and no operating model
Program increment planning, epic and story architecture, cross-team dependency management, and executive reporting. You get a rolling 12-month roadmap with quarterly milestones, objectives scored against business value, and a cadence that survives after I leave.
AI governance and trust architecture
Teams that need to ship AI without shipping risk
Trust-tier classification for AI solutions, API key and credential lifecycle, agent guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and a proof-of-function release standard — so “done” means running in a named, company-owned environment, not a notebook on someone’s laptop.
Multi-LLM platform strategy
Organizations facing runaway inference cost or vendor lock-in
Cloud-agnostic evaluation across AWS Bedrock, LiteLLM routing, Ollama, and Triton/TensorRT-LLM, plus MCP integrations and RAG architecture. The output is a hybrid routing recommendation with the cost model attached, not a vendor preference.
Working together
Engagements are typically three to six months, scoped to leave behind an operating model rather than a dependency: the roadmap, the governance standards, and the reporting package your team runs without me. I work directly with CIO and CTO leadership and I am comfortable being the person who says the pilot is not ready. I am also open to full-time program leadership roles for the right organization — if either is the shape of your problem, write to me.
